Always the Risk Taker

A young lady risks bodily harm to herself, grass stains to her white dress, blemishes to her reputation, and bad luck to her future by riding her bicycle down a hill and under a ladder with her eyes tightly shut. Playing with the history of strange and charming portrait photography, Richmond creates a print for a fictitious American past that explores the humor of everyday life and objects.
