Ericka A. Lawler, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon that specializes in hand and wrist injuries. She has a subspecialty interest in pediatric upper extremity patients.

Dr. Lawler completed her orthopedic residency at New York University (NYU) Hospital for Joint Diseases and her Hand and Upper Extremity Fellowship here at University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics where she is now an associate professor. 

She is the Director of the Hand and Upper Extremity Fellowship and Orthopedic Medical Director in the Ambulatory Surgery Center. She has a strong interest in resident education and her research involves resident training and clinical outcomes of upper extremity patients.
