This clinic is dedicated to the care of children and teens with a variety of skin disorders. Our specially trained dermatologists are doctors who treat and diagnose problems with the skin.
At University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital, we care for children and young adults with common and rare skin disorders.
Some of the conditions most frequently treated by our team include:
- Atopic dermatitis
- Skin tumors
- Diseases of the hair and nails
- Infectious diseases of the skin
- Genetic diseases of the skin
Our dermatologists also treat cosmetic skin problems, including removal of hair and tattoos, with a variety of treatment options. For more information, visit our Plastic Surgery and Cosmetic Services pages.
We feel at home, even when we are hospitalized for weeks at a time. Read more about Mya's story.Read more
