I like the variety – all ages, male and female, surgical and medical, common procedures to the complex. Otolaryngology is one of the specialties where we're able to arrive at a diagnosis and offer effective treatments in most cases. I also like it when things work and I can make people better, even if it is the simplest thing. When I can relieve symptoms and take care of someone’s problems, I’m as happy as I can be. That is what I saw in the profession when I was a medical student and have felt that way the whole time.
