Peter T. Daniolos

About

Dr. Daniolos works with gender non-conforming and transgender youth from ages 3 to 21. His office hours with the UI LGBTQ clinic are each Thursday from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

He is able to help guide psychosocial interventions and clarify whether the child is best understood as having GD, as well as whether the central issue is gender identity or other issues, such as consolidating aspects of adolescent identity including sexual orientation.

Additionally, Dr. Daniolos guides treatment for co-occurring psychopathology commonly seen in GD and which is often driven by stigma, such as anxiety disorders, depression, and others.
